Dr. Philip E. Yeske
President and CEO, Fluorous Technologies
Dr. Philip E. Yeske received a B.S. in Chemistry from Allegheny College in 1985 and a doctorate from Emory University in 1990 under the direction of Professor Albert Padwa. After working with Professor Dennis Curran at the University of Pittsburgh as a Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr. Yeske joined Bayer Corporation in 1991. There he held positions progressing from basic research to global account management over a 10-year period within the Coatings Raw Materials Business Group. He also completed a 4-year marketing assignment at Bayer´s corporate headquarters in Leverkusen, Germany. Dr. Yeske has co-authored over 20 U.S. patents and was a co-winner of the prestigious "Otto Bayer Medallion" at Bayer in 1995.

Marvin Yu, Ph.D.
Director of Process Chemistry
Dr. Yu earned his S.B. in 1986 from MIT where he conducted undergraduate research with Prof. Satoru Masamune. He obtained his Ph.D. from Emory University with Prof. Lanny Liebeskind in 1991 and then conducted postdoctoral research with Prof. Curran from 1991-1994. Dr. Yu then joined the Synthetic Chemistry Dept. at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals, Upper Merion, PA rising to the assistant director level and becoming a member of that department's leadership team. His duties over an 8-year period included the design and implementation of new synthetic routes and processes to drug candidates, preclinical project management, and group leader responsibilities. Dr. Yu's scientific credentials include 13 publications and three US patents.
Tadamichi Nagashima, Ph.D.
Research Scientist
Dr. Tadamichi Nagashima received his Ph.D. in 1998 from the University of Pittsburgh under the direction of Professor Dennis P. Curran, and then was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratories of Professor Huw Davies at SUNY, Buffalo. Dr. Nagashima has extensive experience in solution phase and solid phase synthesis and synthetic methods, and has co-authored eight papers.
Yimin Lu
Research Scientist
Mr. Yimin Lu received his MS in 1999 from SUNY-Albany under the direction of Professor Eric Block. After graduation, he joined the medicinal department at DuPont Pharmaceuticals Company, which was acquired by Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2001. He joined Fluorous Technologies, Inc. in 2003. Mr. Lušs research interest includes drug discovery, parallel synthesis and fluorous mixture synthesis.
