Fluorous Bioreagents
Tagging - Enrichment
Fluorous Bioreagents, our newest product line, extends the power of fluorous separation techniques to the world of systems biology. Using the same techniques as in chemical synthesis, Fluorous Bioreagents allow for the enrichment of fluorous tagged compounds from complex mixtures
Tagging
Fluorous Bioreagents are available that let you tag amines, cysteines, carboxyaldehydes as well as use click chemistry for tagging. Fluorous Bioreagents are completely bioorthoganol and offer lower non-specific binding compared to affinity-based procedures.
Enrichment
Enrichment media for Fluorous Bioreagents is available in bulk, preformatted pipette tips and LC trap cartridges. Once again, please let us know if you need a custom format. We'll be glad to work with you.
Fluorous Bioreagents, used in conjunction with fluorous enrichment media, offer possibilities not available with other methods, such as affinity tags. It is possible, for example, to separate singly tagged molecules from multiply tagged molecules as demonstrated by researchers at GNF when they used this capability to learn about the site of protein-protein interaction.
